A Public access key is enough. Nothing sensitive required. It reads the public work-stats leaderboard and public profile info only. Your key stays in your browser's local storage and is only ever sent to Torn's official API.

Torn's Search Users page tells you a level and a name. The filters that actually matter for recruiting, level range, last action, "In faction", are locked behind Donator or Subscriber status, and even with them you still open twenty profiles one at a time to see who is worth an invite.

Switch to Faction recruiting, pick how to rank (level, attacks won, defends won, busts, net worth), and keep the "Not in a faction" filter on. Each candidate shows 30-day active hours so you invite people who actually play.
No. TornCrew finds candidates from the public Hall of Fame via the API, so it does not depend on the paid filters on Torn's Search Users page.
Yes, from your own key and your own rate limit, paced well under Torn's cap. One call per candidate that passes the leaderboard filters, plus a few more for the ones that make your shortlist. Inactive players are filtered out from leaderboard data before any call is spent on them.
Send Xanax in game to the account shown on the pricing card, a normal item send, not a trade. Then press "I've paid, check now" and your plan activates. 1 Xanax is 3 scans, 3 Xanax is 30 days unlimited, 30 Xanax is lifetime.
TornCrew only reads through Torn's official API with your Public-only key, never scrapes pages, never bypasses anything, and never acts in game. Every request is tagged so you and Torn can see exactly what it did.
Yes. Every user gets a referral link. When someone signs up with it and makes their first payment, you get 5 bonus scans and they get 2. There is no limit on how many people you can refer. Find it under Menu, Refer & Earn.
