A Public access key is enough. Nothing sensitive required. It reads the public work-stats leaderboard and public profile info only. Your key stays in your browser's local storage and is only ever sent to Torn's official API.

No. Job Seekers, Find a Job, the Directory and Buy & Sell Companies and Factions all work without a Torn key, using data TornCrew collects from Torn's official API every day (Job Seekers and Buy & Sell Companies twice a day). Logged in, you can refresh Job Seekers live with your own Public key, which stays in your browser, and the recruiting scanner uses it too. Compare Types needs a login and a Pro or Diamond plan.
Set a minimum work stat and run a scan. TornCrew pulls players above that floor from the work-stats leaderboard, checks each one live for employment, activity, net worth and drug use, and hands you a shortlist with a message ready to send.
Switch to Faction recruiting, pick how to rank (level, attacks won, defends won, busts, net worth), and keep the "Not in a faction" filter on. Each candidate shows 30-day active hours so you invite people who actually play.
Its useful filters need Donator status, and you still open profiles one at a time and guess whether "3 hours ago" means active. TornCrew finds candidates for you from the leaderboard, with stats straight from Torn's API and real 30-day activity, and hands you a shortlist with a message ready in about a minute.
No. TornCrew finds candidates from the public Hall of Fame via the API, so it does not depend on the paid filters on Torn's Search Users page.
Yes, from your own key and your own rate limit, paced well under Torn's cap. One call per candidate that passes the leaderboard filters, plus a few more for the ones that make your shortlist. Inactive players are filtered out from leaderboard data before any call is spent on them.
Send Xanax in game to the account shown on the pricing card, a normal item send, not a trade. Then press "I've paid, check now" and your plan activates. 1 Xanax is 5 scans plus 24 hours of every Pro research tool, 6 Xanax is 30 days of Pro, 30 Xanax is lifetime.
TornCrew only reads through Torn's official API with your Public-only key, never scrapes pages, never bypasses anything, and never acts in game. Every request is tagged so you and Torn can see exactly what it did.

Yes, if you add an FFScouter API key under Menu, Settings. Your key needs to already be registered at ffscouter.com first. With it added, faction results include an estimated battle stats figure and you can sort by it. Without it, results work exactly the same, just without that column.
